OUR FAVOURITE TIME OF YEAR

We love the summer, even when the weather isn’t totally playing ball. Spring brings shoots of hope in the form of asparagus, purple sprouting and Jersey Royals, but it’s around now that nature really unleashes its bounty. It’s our favourite time of year for British produce and we’ve made the most of it by dotting the menu with tomatoes, samphire, courgettes, fennel, aubergines, peas and the like. People don’t usually think of seafood as seasonal. Go to a fish and…

PART-TIME VEGETARIANS

When we eat meat and fish we want the good stuff – ethically reared (or fished) and carefully cooked. For the rest of the time we are part-time vegetarians and we like to think Foxlow is one of the best restaurants for vegetarians and vegans. The Kale & Avocado Salad and Spice-Roasted Cauliflower are big hits with our friends, plus new additions like Courgette, Chilli, Mint & St Within’s Cheese on Toast or Aubergine, Red Rice, Tahini & Harissa. Healthy,…

ALL ABOARD THE FOXLOW EXPRESS

We’ve updated our set menu for the summer, giving you two options for a quick two courses. The Foxlow Express Menu is available every Monday through Friday, from midday until early evening, for £10 (vegan/vegetarian) or £12 (meat & fish). To see the Express Menu, please visit here.

MIDWEEK DINNER SORTED

For when you just can’t face the thought of cooking and wouldn’t mind starting with something shaken, followed by something poured. We’ve got you covered with two courses, an aperitif and a glass of wine for £25. Join us all day Monday to Thursday to try five pepper squid or kale, avocado & fresh herb salad before tucking into steak, house cured salmon or the new roast chicken with pearl barley & purple sprouting broccoli. Book the offer on OpenTable…

BYO Beer and Fried Chicken Mondays

Sometimes on a Monday you just need some TLC (Tender Lovin’ Chicken). That’s why we’re celebrating fried chicken’s return to the Foxlow menu by introducing BYO Beer Mondays. So, whether you’re bringing down bottles of Bermondsey’s latest bathtub brew or tins of Holsten Pils, if you’re ordering pieces of fried chicken (or our famous* fried chicken burger) beer ‘corkage’ will be absolutely free. PLUS, at Foxlow Balham, we’ll also be partnering with our good friends We Brought Beer. Just pop…

Autumn Menu

We’ve got loads of new things on our Autumn menu … including the Foxlow Breakfast (£10) on our brunch menu (sausage and bacon, eggs, spice roasted tomato, mushrooms in madeira gravy & sweet potato chilli hash). Other dishes include Sweet Potato & Kale Hash and Roasted Squash with Avocado. On the main menu there are three new salads: Beetroot & Baby Kale, Broccoli & Ticklemore Goat’s Cheese and Kale, Avocado & Fresh Herb salad, all at £6/£9 for a starter/main….

Hanger Steak & Chips for £12

At Foxlow we care a lot about the meat you eat – we only buy meat from farmers who care about the lives their cattle lead, which is good for you because animals that eat the right thing and live a decent life taste better. We also work with our butchers to get unusual cuts so you can enjoy Britain’s best steak at a decent price, and at the moment we’re serving hanger steak from traditional British breeds with chips…

Cocktails for £5 on a beautiful terrace

We’ve created 5 cocktails with Sipsmith, available at all four Foxlow restaurants and bars (and their lovely outdoor seating) until September for £5 each, Monday to Friday from 5-7pm and on Saturdays at brunch. As summer draws to an end our thoughts turn to actually doing the things we spend half the year dreaming about – getting outside, sipping cocktails in the sun and seeing a bit more of the people we love. To that end all our restaurants have…
